Meet Meghan
Meghan is a licensed massage therapist with 20 years experience working with countless individuals in a wide range of capacities from relaxation to clinical. She prides herself in helping clients relax, reduce pain, increase mobility and avoid injury, whether the source is sitting at a desk or running a marathon.
She specializes in providing a wide range of massage services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Pregnancy Massage and Therapeutic Massage. Her treatments are designed with you in mind, and use a variety of modalities and skills.
In addition to her Massage Therapy background, Meghan is a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). She uses her combined skill set to help treat post surgical patients, for knee, hip and shoulder issues as well as treat orthopedic and sports related injuries.
Meghan understands the body from a clinical injury perspective and supports people recovering from a wide range of injuries. She also helps her clients avoid injury by using massage and exercise to gain mobility and strength.
When not at work, Meghan is an avid athlete and has been competing and training in triathlons for the past four years. She achieved All American status through USA Triathlon, a national ranking given to athletes who are in the top 10% of their age group category. With this personal passion for athletics and professional background Meghan is especially interested in helping athletes stay injury free and keep their bodies healthy to achieve their personal goals.
Meghan lives in Arlington with her boyfriend Ed and their cat Harry. Ed is a master cycling coach and avid rider. Together, they enjoy riding and training through the suburbs of Boston. Meghan is also a member of Cambridge Masters Swim Team and swims regularly with them at Harvard University. She also runs track with Somerville Road Runners when she can!
